| http://www.thesurrealist.co.uk/slogan.cgi?word=Adam ß This is pretty cool! Type your name into the space provided and get a slogan for yourself!
Failure. Everyone has to deal with it, but it's interesting how college doesn't train you for it. Why not? Let's be honest, all of us will have failures throughout life. Lately I've realized that more then gearing up for "success", I'd be better off learning how to effectively and positively learn from and deal with my failures. Anyway, just food for thought...
Can I just say I have a sick roomie!!!

::::Vent of the day:::
It’s annoying how every time I go to get milk at chucks, the milk machine is out of milk! Also, if I don’t keep a close eye on my head phones they somehow find a way to tangle themselves up so bad that it takes me 10 minutes to figure out the mess. Am I the only person with these problems or can I hear an Amen!
Well I'm at the end of my xanga posting so I thought I'd leave you with a picture of me skydiving...

Just kidding.
Peace

| Well, my reason for not updating lately is simply this: My life isn’t that interesting.
But seeing that it’s been a month and it is my xanga…I figure I should say some stuff.

This is a picture of Anthony Hubin. He's very sensative about his hand stitched pajamas that his mom made him for Christmas. Anthony was gone for the weekend, thus the 4 of us got together and decided to model them for him.

This is a picture of actually 4 pictures (one of each of us) all edited together. Very well done by Caleb Hensley. It shows the four of us lounging at 2 a.m. in his PJ's. Boy they were comfy!
I’m really getting to know the cleaning guy that cleans our bathrooms during chapel. There’s really not much more to say about him besides that he’s really good at cleaning bathrooms. Here’s a picture of the two of us....

:::My 2 cents:::
Pistachios are the best food on the planet. If you don’t agree with me you are an idiot and might even go to hell.
So there’s this girl on campus that I find attractive and the other day she smiled at me right when I tripped on the end of my sandal. I’m pretty sure she thinks I’m attractive now too.
:::Vent of the day:::
It’s really annoying when people type stuff in their xanga that isn’t meant for everyone to understand. I think God should have made a world without vagueness.
Is vagueness a word?
I’ve decided I’m going to start cooking more of my own meals. What better way to prepare yourself for the real world. We have an amazing do-it-yourself area in the cafeteria; I don’t see why I shouldn’t take advantage of learning how to cook.
Here's a picture of my brother. I've never put a picture of him on my xanga.

I really don't have anything else to say so here's some pictures of my favorite ski resort ever: Breckenridge. Man oh man I wish I was there!

Doesn't this make you wanna go?

| So apparently my unit mates tell me that I’ve been sleep walking, sleep sleeping in other guys beds, arguing that I’m not sleep walking while I’m sleep walking and barging in on guys going to the bathroom at 2 in the morning while sleep walking. They even have it on film and I so don’t even remember any of it!
We have professional ping-pongers in the lawlor lounge every night this year. They even have their own professional MK Thunder Racket ST paddles. Wow.
People that think xanga is stupid are stupid.
I really need to stop skipping chapel – I’ve now been “sick” during chapel 7 times – I can’t help that I have the flu almost every Tuesday and Thursday after opening the weight room at 6 a.m. and student chapel on Fridays which is just a given.
Pics of the Virginia Beach trip.

And here’s a picture of my beautiful sister who helped me get these pictures up online.

Here's another one just for the heck of it!

This is a picture my parents received this week informing them that I had gotten a tattoo and that I couldn’t hide behind the lie any longer. – It’s actually fake but it definitely made their hearts skip a beat!

Alright, now back to homework
| New update coming soon with pics of the weekend wakeboarding!
::in the mean time::
Had a good laugh today on instant message.
Mallory: Get off AIM Adam! Be more studious like Jon.
Me: But I’m not an engineer like him so what’s the point?
Me: What if I was an engineer tho?
Mallory: lol
Me: Abercrombie prep meets calculator
Mallory: Yah, that’d be HOT!
Mallory: The new Abercrombie Ad – Half naked Adam holding a calculator.
:::Random Fact::: Popping my ears is one of my most favorite things to do. It feels like falling in love, it’s painful during the build up, but occasionally there’s those amazing pops!
If my fingers had lungs they’d be out of breath. I’m spent.
| Have you ever wished, just for 2 minutes, you could be someone you know, and just race through their thoughts? I find that sometimes the easiest way to take my focus off what really matters is to get caught up in wondering what people think of me. I find that if I wonder about something long enough I end up worrying. But would't it be cool to know what your actions - which seem normal to you - appear to others? I think there would be a lot to be learned from seeing yourself through others eyes.
Caleb, a unit mate of mine just announced at 11:29 that he needs to be in bed soon because he must be up by 9:30 tomorrow for chapel. 10 hours of sleep is rough man! haha
If I could summerize sophomore year in one word thusfar, I would say I’m content. I wonder how many people really go through a whole day just content. Satisfied with the way things are and not how they could be. Content to me is trying your best at school and trusting the Lord for the rest, not worrying about if you will have someone you know to sit with in Chapel – if I don’t, it’s just a new opportunity to meet someone I don’t know, and you know what? Eating alone in chucks and watching people secretly tape letters to the underside of the benches down by the lake is actually kinda fun. I know I’m content because I feel like I lack nothing.
Took a drive into Xenia tonight. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I often feel like I’m intruding on their lives over there. For example, I got a stare down by a big black guy when I went into Walmart. Yeah, it kinda freaked me out. Then later I was driving past the taco bell and there was a big group of teens just standing on the side walk. When I stopped at the light they all stopped talking and just glared at me. This year I think we need to take a mission trip to Xenia before we tackle Africa.
I’d write more but I’m pooped. Goodnight and Godbless!
